Alonso Family

Alter spending 8 ½ years on the mission field in Argentina and Chile, Alejandro and Pamela Alonso are currently residing in California. Alejandro is a gifted teacher of the Word and seasoned musician and has been leading the weekly Spanish Bible study at Maranatha Chapel for over two years. The Bible study is a special place where Hispanics can grow in the knowledge of the Lord and also enjoy fellowship in an atmosphere that they can identify with. The Bible studies taught are then given in turn to be prepared for radio broadcast and sent to many Latin American countries. There is a great need for sound doctrine within the Hispanic Christian community.
Although California is their base, Alejandro and Pamela dedicate a great deal of time visiting and helping other missionaries and native pastors around the world. The Lord has called them to use their gifts to teach and minister through music. The music has proved to be a powerful and effective tool to open doors and provide opportunities to evangelize. Using music God has allowed Alejandro and his wife to travel to places of great conflict, to prisons, schools and several times into war zones.
