Focus: Medical missions, community development, evangelism and discipleship

Brett & Kathy Hoelzer

Brett and Kathy are missionaries with World Outreach, a missionary sending organization in Wichita, Kansas. They just completed over 4 years of work in southern Sudan. During their time there they were involved in evangelism and discipleship as well as health, construction and community development programs. They saw 9 new churches planted among unreached peoples and were actively involved in discipling church leaders from 11 local churches.

Brett has over 25 years of construction experience. Before his work in Sudan, he served in short-term missions in Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Chad.

Kathy is a Physician Assistant and has a Masters in Public Health. She has been involved in missions since 1988, where her work has taken her to Turkey, Iraq, Bosnia, Afghanistan and Chad and Sudan.

The Hoelzers are currently on home assignment as they seek a new field of service.
