There are many stories that fill the walls of the century-old hotel in downtown San Diego. The moldings, archways and high ceilings which speak of a previous splendor have been replaced with the richness of human drama and struggle. People come and leave without a trace, babies are born, there is addiction and illness, yet there is a sense of community. But these are not just stories; they are real people with real problems. They are people who sometimes feel abandoned, forgotten and ignored by society, the government and God. However, God has not forgotten them and He has sent messengers to tell them. Each week a team from Maranatha shares a Bible study, a meal and the love of Christ with the residents of this downtown hotel.
